Peculiarities of pricing in design-build schemes
Engaging contractors for “turnkey” works has become a common practice in Ukraine for several years now. In such procurements, bidders are asked to submit a package offer for the construction of a facility along with the design.
The execution of design-build contracts is a practice borrowed from international experience. However, it is still not regulated in Ukraine in sufficient detail. And the current methodology for pricing road works needs to be improved in this regard.
The Association has developed proposals for amendments and sent them in a letter for evaluation and consideration by the responsible authorities.
